To uninstall the PC Optimizer from Computer

  1. Click on Start Menu and Click on Control Panel, and then
  2. On Windows Vista or Windows 7, go to “Uninstall Programs” under “Programs and Features “:
  3. In XP it is Add/Remvoe Programs.
  4. Select the PC Optimizer   you wish to uninstall from the list and click “Uninstall
  5. Follow the steps of the uninstaller application:

How to manually remove PC-Optimizer

To remove PC Optimizer 2010 manually from your computer, follow the instructions below. But be sure to create a system restore or system backup and Registry back up before continuing to manual removal guide.

Find and Remove PCOptimizer from registry values:

Delete these registry Values from the Registry…. Be careful while dealing with registry. And don’t forgot to back up the registry.

Press on Windows Key and R key together on the keyboard
Now you will get a Run Window. Inside the Run window Type REGEDIT and press on Ok.
Now you can see a Registry. (Be Care Full While using registry)If you are uncomfortable editing the registry DO NOT ATTEMPT IT.

Then Go to

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PC Optimizerand Delete PC Optimizer
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\PC Optimizerand Delete PC Optimizer
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PC Optimizerand Delete PC Optimizer
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\PC Optimizerand Delete PC Optimizer
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\PC Optimizerand Delete PC Optimizer 

Find and Delete PC Optimizer  files & Folders:

  • C:\Program Files\PC Optimizer\
  • C:\program files (x86)\PC Optimizer\    (In Windows Vista and 7 Only)
  • C:\ProgramData\PC Optimizer\       (In Windows Vista and 7 Only)
  • C:\User\{Your User Name}\AppData\Local\PC Optimizer      (In Windows Vista and 7 Only)
  • C:\User\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roming\PC Optimizer   (In Windows Vista and 7 Only)
  • c:\Documents and Settings\{Your User Name}\Application Data\PC Optimizer
  • c:\Documents and Settings\{Your User Name}\Local Settings\Application Data\PC Optimizer

Delete all this folders called PC Optimizer and restart the computer. Now it will be gone Fully.
