India s First tablet PC with the Android 4 0 launching this March

Yesterday, one of my posts was about the Android , iPads, iPhones. How to choose among them. each and every one is coming up with a new technology, latest softwares , features and many more things to offer to the customers. For those who prefer Android tablets , here’s a good news for them. The first tablet PC with Android 4.0 ICS is going to be launched in march this year. It is said that it is a cheap Android ICS based tablet. In the past , we all witnessed that India’s Android tablet market got swarmed with Android Tablets but as there were no latest apps, they couldn’t be in the market for long. They were the non-tablet versions of Android. But, this time, India’s Android market is going to withness the cheapest Indian Android 4.0 ICS tablet. Here just mark the word Cheapest!!! I said cheapest because this device will carry a price tag of about 10,000 INR. Though it is not the final pricing.

The device to be launched in March is known as Auxus AX02 which will be an Android 4.0 ICS tablet. The manufacturer of this device is a company called iBerry India which is set up at Chennai. Hence, with the launch of this brand new device , it is also getting ready to launch their first Google Ice-Cream Sandwich based tablet. Now, lets see what features it is going to offer to its customers.

  • Processor: 1GHz processor including a dedicated graphics engine.
  • Resolution: 7-inch device having 800×480 pixels resolution .
  • Memory: 1GB of DDR2 RAM and upto 32 GB of expandable memory via micro SD cards. It will also facilitate user to attach USB drives and other USB peripherals.
Here is a snapshot of the brand new Auxus Axo2….. 🙂

So, with all these features , and Android 4.0 ICS , we have to see how well it delivers to the customers . How well the customers are attracted towards it and how long it stays in the Indian market which is day-by-day getting crowded with all the entry-level Android tablets.
