As expected, the Winamp player was acquired Radionomy together with the associated web service Shoutcast. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. However, the Belgian edition of De Tijd reports that part of the agreed amount, AOL took the Radionomy shares.
Radionomy service was launched in 2012. Currently it has about 6 thousand radio stations and 13 million unique listeners. In an interview with the founder of De Tijd service Radionomy Sabudzhon Alexander said that the deal will increase the number of users Radionomy 5-10 times.
