Solution for Search Redirections Issue

  • Open msconfig – Start -> Run -> msconfig.  and check for rundll32.exe entry with malicious file location.

  • Go to the location, Just rename all the files if there is more than one file.

File name : c:\users\{Your User Name}\appdata\roaming\google\google\nnafru.dll

File name : c:\users\{Your User Name}\appdata\roaming\google\google\btphzfbs.dll
File name : c:\users\{Your User Name}\appdata\roaming\google\google\dkgjonab.dll
File name : C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe\btphzfbs.dll

File name : C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming\ATI\ATI\dkgjonab.dll
File name : C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe\nnudr.dll


           Win XP: 

C:\Documents and Settings\% User Profile %\Application Data\Google\random.dll


  • Restart the computer and delete all the renamed files.
  • Reset IE and Deleted cookies, Temporary internet files.
  • Issue will be fixed, if still the issue persists in Firefox and Google chrome.
  • Take a backup of All bookmarks ,  Firefox -> Click on Bookmarks menu -> Select Organize bookmarks

  • Reinstall Firefox and Google Chrome.
  • Restore all the backup.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Issue will be fixed.
